Thursday was a day of swimming. Eli qualified to swim in the SW Swimming carnival (which selects the ACT swimming team). He wasn't successful but swam ever so well. The difficulty is that the kids are out-competed by squad swimmers who, (usually courtesy of kind grandparents) can attend swimming sessions three or four times a week.
Audrey swam in the afternoon at our local outdoor pool. Despite being April the weather is so mild so she had her usual Thursday afternoon swim. Numbers in the pool have thinned as the weather has grown colder though and this was most likely her final session until Spring arrives and she can start again in November.
